Erin Barnett is a documentary editor and writer with a knack for tapping into the emotional heartbeat of the characters whose stories she tells. Prior to Rebel Hearts, she edited Liz Garbus's six-part HBO series, I'LL BE GONE IN THE DARK, for which she was nominated for Cinema Eye's "Outstanding Achievement in Editing '' honor. She also wrote and edited Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer’s Netflix original documentary THE GREAT HACK, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and was nominated for an Emmy Award® for Best Documentary or Non-Fiction Special, a BAFTA Award, and was shortlisted for an Academy Award®.
